ja ja,dave went and bought new tyres----american racers-- nogal.he was told that they fly over the s/up.that didn,t work out so he sold the racers(at a loss) and now bought hoosiers,guess what---they wont work either---you still need b*lls to jump the s/up.also heard that roy clark got a new sponsor---kentucky ROAST chicken.ask him to explain.. wouter also racing this w/end.should be interesting :P

Ok, I tell both you uncles + any one else racing the vets, that I will give you all 1 minute head start and guarantee you that before oom Eugene finishes the first lap that I (new tyres and all) will have caught up with oom Eugene and oom Wouter and by the second lap will be up front in first position. The vets racing has become one of the highlights of the day. (except for last Flat track step up)

This time it should be the competition of the day and I'm sure I'll some invulutary no footers and then no teethers. Heat 1 step up, Heat 2 Chicken run, Heat 3 TTop 1.

Sunday should be fun.

Andre, seems there is going to be great competition on Sunday, If Dave, Oom Eugene and Oom Wouter have been practising as much as they have been on this site, we in for a tough time. I suggest we split the bets up into different categories. One for Holeshot(First round the first corner), and another for first across the line after lap one. (four Laps and my wheel chair starts to come apart).:)

Hehehehe great stuff guys.

I thought that I would not chirp because I am basically a spectator. Then it hit me, we all watch the Boks and know exactly what they are doing wrong even though we have no idea what it is like to compete at that level.

So, despite all the big talk on the site last week, I found it very difficult to get action shots of the vets. You will note that my pics of the 50cc class have more action than ever before. Also check out the lead Revo in heat 1 over the jump before the double. No vet got so much air there. In heat 1, the step up looked like a parking lot in the vets race!

Look at the pics. Did any vet clear the step-up as well as Sandra-Lee? I could not find one. Dave, in heat 2 there is a shot of you where you could have overtaken if you had not hopped up the step-up.

The last double is another place where vets with balls can overtake while their counterparts are crawling over it.

Anyway it’s great to see so many oldies enjoying themselves so much.

In heat 2 I was the guy opposite the Marshall on the step up. 1m away from those who went wide. Best view in the house.

Sure I did not see everyone in all the heats and the leading vets took it in their stride. Sandra-Lee took it as well as anyone. Check the photos, they are already in cyberspace. (Got the parking lot shot from distance as well.)

This is a light hearted post anyway.

Helmets off to every Vet, I can only wish to be able to race like them.

I did. Some nice shots, but none airborne. There is one where you can pretend you were landing, but you were just doing a wheelie off the slope. Still a mean trick, but not the one I was looking for.

In heat 1 I kept an eye on the step-up and it seemed there were few takers. In Heat 2, lap 1 when I was there, again few takers, but from lap 2 there were more. (For the camera?) Heat 3, you could have jumped every time and probably did. I was unsighted.
