SUBMITTED BY PIERRE AND JILL

I would like to ask our TOP Wild Thing riders, Clayton, Nathaniel, Donnovan, Bruce, Pierre, Eric, Kyle, Boesman etc. our up and coming riders see you guys as their hero's and role models please spare a moment for these children who hero worship you and would give anything just to be acknowledged by you.

The smallest gesture and a bit of your time would mean so much to them.

We have youngsters asking me for permission to say hello to riders like Clayton. I would just like to make you older recognised riders aware that the youngsters do look up to you - please be worthy of their admiration.

Clayton in particular has always had a word or too for my boys and I can vouch for the effect it has. Heck, I even appreciate a few words with guys like Clayton and Boesman it's a great way to learn more about the sport.

Just another brief comment. It really helps when the kids' heros lead by example and wear safety gear even up and down the pit lane.

Justin is forcing me to get him a neck brace. He says it is because a revo may hit him from behind, but it is really the example set by Kyle.

Normanb, I am beginning to wonder if you have a "Revo issue", perhaps you should post it in the interactive forum, under Revo Issues?

No Revo issues. Just recognize that Revos are the ones to beat. They do not have any competition Stock or modified. Put a good rider on one and it is very difficult for anything other than a better rider on a Revo to catch her(/him).

My little mullet has been practicing his starts every spare minute he has. He's got more saddle time on tracks and some non WT racing experience. We tuned and greased the quad because I realised the truth as pointed out on this forum - a good mechanic helps.

Justin thinks the quad sounds better (read louder), it is running slightly faster, he's practiced and practiced. Most important of all, he has new gear and a new shiny silver helmet.

Time to aim higher than 1st non Revo home.

OK maybe I think it is silly to spend money modifying a Revo until it costs more than a modified Blaster. Some could already probably qualify to race in the Blaster class, but would lose. But if you have the mechanic and the money and you want your talented kid to think winning is easy, then go for it. So still no real revo issues.

I understand exactly where you are coming from when it comes to modifying a Revo, unfortunately that's where we started and now there is no turning back!

I know you don't have any issues with the Revo's, was just pulling your leg as the Revo's have caused quite a few "sticky" posts in the past.

Good Luck to Justin on Sunday, I will look out for him in his new gear and shiny new helemet.

I am not having any luck with the smilies so here is a smiling face :)

That is where we started when there was no standard class,so no point in going backwards.I can"t wait for my kids to go to the next class. At least no one debates about the blaster/open class.

More than a Blaster, Try a 450. That is the cost. Luckily some restrictions are coming.

Mike unfortunately the same parents will move to the blaster class.
so I am sure we can expect the debating to start once they do move. The difference now is the riders in the blasters are racing and not their parents. [:(:(:(]

By the end of the season, I'll be sponsoring a Blaster as well. Evan is way too competative and too heavy to take on just the back of the pack with a stock Blaster, so my back pocket is getting very warm. He's going to have to pull out all the stops to get his resurrected 2003 now non-stock Blaster into the middle of the pack.
